In summary, what we’re reading is about the state of innovation and entrepreneurship in Connecticut which is declining according to the Stamford Advocate’s report on findings by the Kauffman Foundation. What’s the answer? Several articles about the entrepreneur and government investment failure aren’t encouraging. We wrote about the enigma that is the 99% of Innovation, including self-funded entrepreneurs and corporate innovation. But there are many reports of corporate innovation failure too. We propose that in our experience – innovation in a vacuum burns a lot of capital – especially human capital.
